Extinction rebellion values a culture of care for eachother and ourselves (core princple 3). This is why we start and finish each meeting with a momeent that revolves areound the people participating instead of the agenda points. We call this a check-in (at the start of the meeting) or a check-out (at the end of the meeting.
During these moments we go around the participants. Everyone shares briefly how they are doing. For example, if you've had a bad day or if you've had a fight with someone, you can share this during the check-in. We won't judge, but sympathise with you. This helps us understand why you might behave in a certain way. If, on the other hand, you have positive news, that is of course also good to share!
